While many are feeling natures wrath in the forms of freezing temps and blizzard conditions, we are enjoying 70 degree days and mild nights. What can I say? One of the perks of living in paradise. Our reef bite has picked up with the drop in water temps. We are putting together great catches of hogfish, mutton & mangrove snapper, grouper, cero mackerel, porgies and small sharks. Half day reef trips are a great family activity that puts fresh fish on the dinner table and smile
Winter brings mild weather, holiday cheer and great fishing opportunities to our islands in the stream. The waters of the Florida Keys have come alive with the arrival of pelagic favorites like: sailfish, blackfin tuna, wahoo, mahi mahi, kingfish and sharks. The reef action remains strong with good catches of hogfish, snapper, grouper, mackerel, porgies and sharks. Take a short drive south from Miami and visit us at the Key Largo Fisheries for a memorable day of fishing fun!
